A lifelong martial artist since 1972, and close‑quarter combat instructor since 1987, Brent has trained thousands of military personnel, law enforcement officers, and specialized tactical units. His methods are forged in real-world conflict—fast, direct, and relentlessly effective. From urban warfare to high‑risk extraction, his instruction is grounded in lived experience, not theory.
As a former private military contractor and operating engineer, Brent has also designed and manufactured millions of gallons of mission‑grade protective products for warfighters and first responders worldwide. His work bridges battlefield-tested tactics with large‑scale protective engineering, creating solutions that perform under the harshest conditions.
Brent’s career spans roles from security guard, bouncer, and campus police officer to security consultant, bodyguard, CQB instructor, defensive tactics instructor, operating engineer, and founder of multiple security firms and protective-product development enterprises. He embodies the rare combination of operator, instructor, engineer, and entrepreneur.
Supported by ongoing academic study in criminology, psychotherapy, behavioral finance, and AI engineering. Brent offers a multidimensional understanding of threat dynamics and human behavior.
